LSTNR is a music curation service. You tell us about the feeling you want in a space, and we build a sequenced tracklist for it. Curation pairs machine assisted music discovery with human editorial review. A person reads your brief, reviews the tracklist, sequences it and approves it before you receive it.

• Not a music supplier

  We do not host, stream, sell or license sound recordings. What we deliver is a list of tracks and the order to play them in.

• Not a licence

  Playing music where the public can hear it usually needs a separate public performance licence from the relevant collecting society. Getting that licence, where it is required, is your responsibility and nothing we deliver grants it.

• Not affiliated with streaming platforms

  Spotify, Apple Music and any other service we name are the property of their owners. LSTNR is independent and is not endorsed by, partnered with or sponsored by any of them.

Listening happens through your own personal streaming account, under that platform's own terms. You need an active account with them, and their catalogue and country availability decide what you can actually play. If a track we suggest is unavailable to you, tell us and we will replace it.

Exporting is optional. When you connect, you approve a limited permission that lets us create a playlist in your own library and nothing more. You can disconnect at any time from your streaming account settings, and the playlists already created stay yours.

LSTNR is in early access. Curation is complimentary right now: there is no charge, no card is collected, nothing renews and nothing is owed. Because no payment is taken there is nothing to refund. If we introduce paid plans later, we will publish pricing, cancellation and refund terms before anyone is asked to pay, and no existing account will be charged without agreeing first.

Keep your sign in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not use LSTNR to break the law, to break your streaming platform's terms, or to resell what we deliver as your own product.

We take real care with every playlist and a person signs off on each one. Taste is personal, so we cannot promise a specific result, a specific track, or that a playlist will have a particular effect on the people in a room. During early access the service is provided as is, availability can be interrupted, and features can change. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which during the pilot is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

You can stop using LSTNR whenever you like and ask us to delete your account by writing to talktous@lstnrmusic.com. We may close an account that abuses the service or these terms. Playlists already saved in your own streaming library remain yours either way.
